Windham Historical Society

E-mail

The Windham Historical Society will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Brick Chapel, 9001 North Main Street, this coming Monday, March 15, at 7:00. Items of current interest will be discussed.

At the previous month’s meeting at the new Renaissance Family Center, formerly the East Elementary School, a very large crowd heard a presentation by Kelly Haylett, director of the JeepSkool at the old Silica Sand Quarry in Windham Township, which will host the Society’s picnic in July.

The Brick Chapel will open for meet-and-greet at 6:30 and a chance to look at the society’s artifacts.

The Society is continuing to sell Ralph Pfingsten’s lavish new book, “The History of the Ravenna Arsenal,” receiving a stipend for every copy sold. They are available for purchase at the upcoming meeting or by contacting President Lynnea St John at 330-326-6061, or emailing her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
